Universitas PGRI Semarang (UPGRIS) continues to strengthen its commitment to modern and responsible campus governance by issuing a series of Rector’s Regulations and Rector’s Decrees (SK) that regulate various important aspects, from academic freedom and sustainable funding to human rights protection and anti-corruption.
These new policies reflect UPGRIS’s strategic steps to create an academic environment free from discrimination, respect diversity, and ensure the integrity and sustainability of campus operations. These regulations include strict guidelines for accepting donations and sustainable funding, implementing sustainable investment and procurement, and establishing a campus zone free from corruption and bribery.
In addition to focusing on financial and environmental aspects, UPGRIS also emphasizes the protection of all academics through regulations on Academic Freedom, Research, and Scientific Autonomy, as well as a Decree on Student Protection and the implementation of Academic Life in Diversity and Inclusion. These policies also explicitly address Equal Pay without Gender Disparity and protection from Modern Slavery, demonstrating UPGRIS’s commitment to universal human values.
With the issuance of these regulations, UPGRIS sets a new standard in university governance practices, ensuring that every academic and non-academic activity is carried out based on the principles of accountability, sustainability, and social justice.
