Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan ini sangat besar manfaatnya bagi peningkatan mutu kedua universitas. Hal ini mengingat Akreditasi 9 Kriteria menuntut Penjaminan Mutu dan SPMI yang bagus dan lengkap di level UPPS dan Program Studi pada setiap perguruan tinggi. Suyoto M.Pd selaku Pusat penjaminan Mutu Eksternal memaparkan tentang instrumen AMI dan pelaksanaannya pada setiap unit kerja dan Dr. Rosalimna Br. Ginting, M.Si Pusat penjaminan Mutu Internal memaparkan proses penyusunan Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI) yang dilakukan di UPGRIS. dari UMNAW diwakili oleh Dr. Abdul Mujib, M.Pmat selaku Ketua LPM UMNAW beliau menjelaskan bahwa SPMI ini sangat membutuhkan dukungan dari semua pihak untuk menjadikan budaya mutu di perguruan tinggi.<\/p>\n<p>Harapan dengan adanya eksternal bechmarking ini dapat memotivasi dan menumbuhkan pentingnya budaya mutu di perguruan tinggi masing-masing. Pelaksanaan&nbsp;<em>External Benchmarking&nbsp;<\/em>UPGRIS dan UMNAW dimaksudkan dapat mengidentifikasi dan beradaptasi kelebihan dan kekurangan dari Pengelolaan SPMI dan AMI dari UPGRIS dan UMNAW.
